My Auntie Peggy. All my life you have been there. I remember warm welcomes, kind words, a gentle voice.
As a young girl, I adored the tip tap of your high heeled shoes, the smartest of clothes and the best lemon meringue pie in the whole world. That soul connection between you and my Uncle Dennis was transparent and set the highest benchmark for a lifelong marriage. I admired that so much. Your huge pride and immense love for all the family never wavered for one second.
I will miss your lovely smile and calm presence, Auntie Peggy. God rest in peace now.
Your loving niece, Vanessa xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
